The core process

How we eliminate downtime

Six stages, same order, every unit — the process behind every number on this page.

Truck down right now? Call — the process starts the moment the unit is booked.

  1. Inspection

Every job starts with a digital vehicle inspection — findings photographed as they're written up, filed to the unit before the first decision is made. Booking the unit in is what starts the 48-hour clock.

  2. Diagnosis

Computer diagnostics and inspection before a wrench moves, with photos of what we find.

  3. Estimate Lock

A written estimate, parts and labour broken out, inside 24 hours of diagnosis — and locked once you approve it.

  4. Approval

Nothing past diagnosis is touched without your sign-off, line by line, in writing.

  5. Repair

The work itself, done to the approved scope — no surprise add-ons once it's locked.

  6. Return to Service

Retested under load, re-inspected where required, and filed to the unit's digital record.

The commitments

Two numbers we put in writing

Picked because they're the two points in a repair where waiting costs you money — and because a number is checkable and "fast, friendly service" isn't.

Inspection results in 48 hours.

From your scheduled booking, you get the inspection outcome and a repair plan inside 48 hours — with photographs of what we found.

Estimates in 24 hours.

A written estimate with parts and labour broken out, inside 24 hours of diagnosis. Nothing past diagnosis is touched before you approve it.

The Estimate Lock

Once you approve it, the number doesn't move

Serial estimating — approve one number, then watch it grow — is one of the top three issues fleets deal with in this industry. Our Estimate Accuracy & Approval Policy ends it: once approved, your estimate is locked on price and scope. Changing a locked estimate takes manager approval — and nothing changes without yours.

Process control

Same checklist, every truck, every time

Consistency is the mechanism. A repeatable process is what lets a promise survive a full shop.

  1. Documented inspection

One checklist per unit type, run the same way regardless of who's on it, with findings photographed.

  2. Confirmed diagnosis

Computer diagnostics before a wrench moves. We tell you what we ruled out, not just what we replaced.

  3. Approved scope

No work beyond diagnosis without your approval, line by line, in writing.

  4. Verified repair

Retested under load and re-inspected where required, then recorded against the unit.

Standing behind the work

Warranty and the record behind it

A repair warranty is only as good as the documentation under it, which is the practical reason every job here leaves with an inspection record, photographs and an approved scope attached to the unit.

Mach 6 Products (systems and parts manufactured by Mach 6) carry a six-month warranty from delivery or acceptance. Labour and services carry a 90-day warranty from completion. Distributed products manufactured by third parties are covered under that manufacturer's own warranty, which Mach 6 helps you claim against. Full terms, exclusions and claims process are set out in the Standard Terms of Sale & Warranty.

Don't take the website's word for it

Ask to see the paper. A real condition report with the inspection photos, and a locked estimate — before you commit the unit.
